MARKET ESTIMATECost breakdown
Included, excluded and user-entered components
Fuel: shown separately for transparency but already included in the road transport component β it is not added twice.
Customs: duties/VAT and customs clearance time are excluded. A broker fee is included only when you activate it above.
Port / harbour cost: port charges are shown separately where applicable; verify the carrier contract to avoid double counting if they are already included in your negotiated freight rate.
How to use a transport estimate
A planning estimate should keep the road component, ferry or crossing, port-related amounts, customs-broker fees and user-entered commercial rates visible. A displayed fuel reference must not be added twice when fuel is already included in the road component or carrier surcharge.
Estimate vs quotation
IndusLog values are planning references unless you enter a current negotiated amount. The final booking price depends on current carrier availability, equipment, route, timing, contract conditions and accessorial charges.
Before confirming a shipment
Verify the carrier quote, vehicle/equipment, route, border process, loading constraints and any special service charge. Customs duties, VAT and clearance time are not the same thing as a customs-broker service fee.
